I'm Not a "Do All" Type Photographer.
I focus on three very specific areas- weddings (and couples), branding and events. Regardless of what type of photography I am doing, my approach is that of lifestyle and photojournalism. I like to capture the truth and beauty in the moment with as little interference as possible, although I am still always there to also offer posing and composition help, especially for weddings and branding!
Life pivoted and so did I...
For years I was a full time wedding photographer on Vancouver Island, and I loved it... but my husband and I always dreamed of living a more nomadic and adventurous life. So, we bought a sailboat and spent the past few years sailing, exploring and making films about that adventure. This unfortunately meant that weddings had to go on the back burner for a while because sailing season and wedding season are the same season....
But as happens, life has changed again, and I am excited to be back to wedding and branding photography- at least for a while!
I absolutely LOVE capturing images of people I Love that I am back doing so!
