I am a photographer and filmmaker from Vancouver Island. Driven by a passion for connecting to and protecting nature, I love to create visual stories that showcase the deep connection between people and the nature on which they depend. My projects range from working with non- profits to chronicling my own journey to off- grid living on a sailboat.
I love to understand the depths of what makes things move and change and breathe, from spirit to the physical, and I work to showcase that through my art.
Life pivoted and so did I...
For years I was a full time wedding photographer on Vancouver Island, and I loved it... but my husband and I always dreamed of living a more nomadic and adventurous life. So, we bought a sailboat and spent the past few years sailing, exploring and making films about that adventure. This unfortunately meant that weddings had to go on the back burner for a while because sailing season and wedding season are the same season....
But as happens, life has changed again, and I am excited to be back to wedding photography- at least for the 2026 season :D
I absolutely LOVE capturing images of people in love and I can't wait to be back doing so in 2025. So if you or someone you know is in need of a wedding photographer, please send them my way!
