Sometimes you've just gotta get in there...
If there is anything I'm known for as a photographer, other than making my clients feel comfortable, it's that I am always looking to be close to nature. In my photos, Pachamama is always a main character. I am drawn to her love the way I am drawn to people in love, and I believe that shows in my images.
So when Jane told me about an incredible couple who were eloping and wanted to get in the ocean to say their vows, I couldn't wait to meet them and photograph their expression of love! Nature elopements on Vancouver Island (well, anywhere in the world really) are one of my most favourite things to photograph, and in my mind the closer to nature the better!
